The Suffolk sheep is a UK breed and is classified as short-wool and down. Its dense fleece is suited to knitwear and any other application where a good bulk is required. 35-40 Microns, average length of 75-80mm. Perfect for hand spinning, hand felting and many other craft uses.
This natural top is light gray color; it is a standard color by The Fiberists and is available for on demand ordering. Colors may vary from what they appear on your screen, dark tones may appear darker and blacker on your screen.
Finished items created from this top are recommended hand wash only. Since this top is 100% Gray Suffolk Wool it can not tolerate agitation while wet without felting. The Fiberists recommend all projects be hand washed in cold water to ensure longevity.
