Salk Top - 4 oz - Marble

Animal free and regal, this curated mill dyed and blended top is a unique experience for the vegan spinner or those who want to try something different.  Because it contains flax it can be a bit rough during spinning, but when wet finished it blooms into a soft textured yarn. 

This colorway was previously known as Specimen 367. Due to the positive feedback we received, we have made this a standard colorway.

This beautiful variegated top contains shades of white, black, yellow and hints of other colors; it is a color experiment by The Fiberists and is available in limited quantities. Colors may vary from what they appear on your screen, dark tones may appear darker and blacker on your screen.

Finished items created from this top are recommended hand wash only. While this roving is 50% Faux Cashmere / 12.5% Trilobal Nylon / 12.5% Rayon made from Bamboo / 12.5% Flax / 12.5% Soyabean and can tolerate some agitation while wet, The Fiberists recommend all projects be hand washed to ensure longevity.
