A very rare, old breed found in the Isle Of Man. This wool averages at 29-31 micron with a staple length of around 75-80mm. Squishy yet durable, this Manx Loaghtan Top is a medium wool that is easy to spin and felts wonderfully.
This natural top is a brown color; it is a standard color by The Fiberists and is available for on demand ordering. Colors may vary from what they appear on your screen, dark tones may appear darker and blacker on your screen.
Finished items created from this top are recommended hand wash only. Since this top is 100% Manx Loaghtan Wool it can not tolerate agitation while wet without felting. The Fiberists recommend all projects be hand washed in cold water to ensure longevity.
